I believe that education is a right for all people.
To be engaged in education, you must feel included and valued. I strive to build and nurture a classroom culture where inclusiveness is natural. Where there is a deep sense of pride, passion and belonging that transcends any role, amount of education, language or country and is unified in my commitment to excellence in teaching and social responsibility.
Many of the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences, and I am committed to cultivating an inclusive classroom environment. I know through experience that different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds create a stronger and more creative learning environment that delivers better education.
I feel it is only natural to support an inclusive environment where students feel empowered to share their experiences and ideas, I encourage all students to learn – no matter your gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
The truth is, there is power in your uniqueness, and your truth speaks volumes.
